Learn How To Kayak in New York City

Learn how to kayak in a fun, supportive group setting. Expert instructors teach you essential techniques: outfitting, maneuvering, self-rescue, and navigation. Classes go in order: 1 β†’ 2 β†’ 3. Start with Class 1, even if you have experience. We teach according to American Canoe Association standards and add NYC-specific information. After finishing Kayak 3, you qualify for Intermediate Tours, which are amazing group paddling adventures on NYC waters.
