🟢 Just Want To Paddle Once?
Rentals are casual, beginner-friendly, and stay in the cove–great for a quick outing with friends, kids, or your dog.
Want to kayak on the river and see the skyline? Join our NYC Kayaking Tour. It’s guided, beginner-friendly, and fun. Come solo or buy it out as a private tour. Cooler than a bar, fresher than an escape room.
🟢 Want To Learn To Paddle?
Learn in real sea kayaks and paddle boards—not sit-on-top kayaks used on beginner tours.

Guided River Trips & Adventures
Beginner | Intermediate | Advanced | Expert
🟦 Intermediate Trips | Explore Farther
These guided trips use sea kayaks and touring paddle boards in real conditions–wind, waves, and crossings. Sit-on-top kayaking, including our beginner kayaking trip, does not qualify you for these trips. Take Classes 1–2–3 or pass our screening to get ready.
Tours are listed in order of difficulty.
◆ Advanced Trips | Go The Distance
Ready to put your skills to the test? These trips take you across open water, around islands, under bridges, and deep into our community. Expect stronger currents, variable winds, and a real chance to apply what you’ve learned.
Prerequisite: You must have completed at least 4 intermediate trips this season or pass a screening. Prior experience from previous years does not qualify on its own. These trips are designed for active paddlers currently in paddle shape and confident in sea kayaks or touring paddle boards.
Trips are listed in order of difficulty.
◆◆ Expert Trips | The Ultimate Challenge
Push your limits with the toughest trips we offer. Expect long hours on the water, shifting weather, and tight teamwork. Routes may include big open crossings, complex currents, and landmark destinations few ever reach.
Prerequisite: You must have completed at least 3 advanced trips this season or pass a screening. Prior experience from previous seasons does not qualify on its own. These trips are designed for paddlers currently operating at a high level with endurance, focus, and commitment.
Trips are listed in order of difficulty.
