Energizing Evenings on the Water

Enjoy steady, skillful paddling in the Pier 84 cove on Wednesdays around sunset.

This session is led by elite paddleboard coach and endurance racer Judy Dong. It channels her signature positivity, thoughtfulness, and high energy to help you build rhythm, endurance, and flow.

Over time, you will learn to raise your baseline pacing before your muscles fatigue. If you are looking for a consistent, structured weekly practice, this is it!

When river currents are slow, this group of kayakers and paddleboarders may head out of the cove and onto the wide-open Hudson for an Open River Session. This is a workout loop on the river, not a trip.

This is an intermediate activity. To participate, you must qualify through one of the pathways below.

What To Bring

Please wear quick-dry athletic clothes. Bring a change of clothes, a padlock, a water bottle, snacks, and your favorite fitness tracker or the Strava app to log your session.

We Provide

Sea kayak, surfski, or paddleboard, life jacket, paddle, instructor, restroom, lockers, outdoor rinse station, and changing room.

This training is free with our Unlimited Paddleboard Pass. This pass gives you 30 days of Paddleboard Intro, Stretch & Tone, Skills, Tempo, and Technique & Velocity. Note: River Trips and Kayak Classes are not included.
