Test Drive the TRAK Folding Kayak

High-performance. Portable. Built for real water.

In this private session:

  • Stay warm and comfortable. Wetsuit, jacket, booties, and PFD provided.
  • Get fitted at the Pier 84 Boathouse. Sit in the TRAK 2.0 and adjust hips, feet, and thigh support.
  • Paddle to feel its performance. We’ll guide you through turns, edging, acceleration, and handling.
  • Assembly & pack-down (optional). If you’d like, we can walk you through it step by step.

Please note: Some slideshow photos show TRAKs on longer NYC trips, not part of this demo.

 

Session details

  • Private session with a trained guide
  • All gear: kayak + accessories, paddle, wetsuit, jacket, booties, PFD
  • Heated boathouse with lockers, changing rooms, restrooms
  • Try the TRAK in the cove beside the Intrepid with your guide
  • If time and conditions allow, we can paddle on the wide-open river
  • Optional overview of rinsing, drying, and rebagging
  • After the demo, get a $130 credit toward your TRAK + free 3-day shipping (all orders ship directly to you)

What to bring

  • Wear a rashguard, underwear, hat, and socks. We’ll provide the rest!
  • Change of warm clothes for afterward
  • Water bottle and energy snack
  • Lock for the lockers

Restrictions

  • No kayaking or swimming experience required. Beginners welcome.
  • Fits people from 5’0″ to 6’4″, up to 250 lbs, and shoe size 14 or smaller.
  • Minimum age: 15 years. Participants under 18 must have an adult on site.
