What’s SUP? NYC’s Ultimate Outdoor Fitness Adventure

Feel the thrill of standing tall on a SUP and exploring the city from a whole new perspective. Our expert instructors guide you through balance, steering, and paddling techniques.

Classes go in order: 1 → 2 → 3. Start with Class 1, even if you have experience. After finishing Class 3, you qualify for Intermediate Tours, which are amazing group paddling adventures on NYC waters.

Stand-Up Paddleboarding Class Breakdown

Paddleboard 1: Learn balance and steering techniques while seated and standing (2.5 hrs)

Paddleboard 2: Refine your standing strokes and learn to capsize and remount safely (2.5 hrs)

Paddleboard 3: Take on open water, catch small waves, and paddle with power (2.5 hrs)

 

What To Bring

  • Wear quick-drying workout clothing and reef-safe sunscreen
  • Change of clothes for after
  • Lock for lockers, water bottle, and energy snack
