Paddle to New York’s Third Largest City: Yonkers!
We paddle from the Pier 84 Boathouse up the Hudson River, past Riverside Park and the Little Ride Lighthouse, under the George Washington Bridge, and along the scenic cliffs of the Hudson River Palisades. We land at the downtown Yonkers waterfront. We visit Van Der Donck Park on foot and appreciate the history of the restored Saw Mill River. The Saw Mill River was buried for nearly a century under the streets of downtown Yonkers. We cover 28 miles round trip.
