Prepare to paddle board in NYC and around the world

The Atlantic Ocean floods into and ebbs out from Hudson River several times daily. The water and wind can literally sweep away beginners on SUP in NYC. If you are a Novice or have only learned informally, start by strengthening your technique in SUP Basics. Take weekend classes or set up private sessions with us. SUPers with good technique feel joy – not discomfort – on the water.

After SUP Basics 1-4, start going on Intermediate trips. We take care of the guide, board and logistics. In order of difficulty, they are: Secret Beach Trip, Sushi Trip, Surf City Trip, and GW Bridge Trip. Expect not only a workout, but a fun break for lunch at a halfway point as we wait for the tides to turn.

After Intermediate trips, try Advanced ones including: Freedom Tower Trip, Palisades Trip, Liberty Trip, and the Governor’s Island Trip. These are intense multi-hour journeys with a small friendly group. Ride the 2-person Tandem or 4-person Dragon SUP!

After Advanced trips, try Elite ones in this order: Red Hook Trip, Manhattan Circumnavigation, Alpine Adventure, Fort Wadsworth Camping Trip and Sandy Hook Camping Trip. At this level, you’re prepared for multi-day expeditions.
